TECHNOMANCY
A Movement at the Intersection of Technology, Consciousness, and Intentionality
Technomancy is a nonprofit initiative designed to inject consciousness, intentionality, and deeper questioning into the global conversation around AI and emerging technology.
Through speaker series, immersive experiences, podcast content, and strategic integration with leading conferences, Technomancy creates spaces where technologists, investors, and thought leaders encounter perspectives typically absent from mainstream tech discourse.
Drawing from wisdom traditions, somatic practices, and esoteric frameworks, Technomancy asks:
”What are we actually building, and who are we becoming in the process?”
The initiative operates on the premise that the most important questions about AI aren't technical—they're philosophical, spiritual, and deeply human. And that intellectual understanding alone is insufficient; embodied experience must accompany conceptual exploration.
Guest Speakers
A growing cohort of technologists, investors, and founders are hungry for deeper frameworks. They've read the AI safety papers. They've heard the efficiency arguments. What they haven't encountered is a space that takes seriously questions like:
What ancient technologies of the self (breathwork, energy cultivation, contemplative practice) become more essential, not less, in a world of artificial intelligence?
How do we approach AI development as a practice—with intention, ritual, and awareness—rather than merely an engineering problem?
What happens to human consciousness, intuition, and agency when we outsource cognition to machines?
If "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic," what can magical traditions teach us about wielding such power?
Technomancy creates the container for these conversations and experiences.
“Technomancy is an embodied inquiry into technology and consciousness—where intellectual exploration is grounded in direct experience of the body, breath, and nervous system.”

Activations
Technomancy Speaker Series
Curated conversations with leading voices exploring what we’re building, and who we’re becoming in the process.
Intimate, provocative, and embodiment-forward.
Technomancy Immersive Experiences
A multi-sensory evening combining environment design, interactive stations, live performance, and social gathering—part ritual, part party, part future-mirror.
Technomancy asks:
What ancient knowledge is most essential for navigating the age of artificial intelligence?
The wisdom traditions spent millennia studying consciousness, intention, and the relationship between human and more-than-human intelligence. That knowledge is rising now—because we need it.
Theory of Change
Technomancy operates on a simple premise: the people building and funding AI rarely encounter spaces that make consciousness, intentionality, and embodied wisdom feel relevant to their work.
By creating those spaces—and making them compelling, experiential, and community-oriented—we aim to shift how individuals relate to technology, which compounds into cultural change.
Indicators of Success
Community Formation
Following Technomancy workshops, The Portal (Mill Valley) launched an ongoing "Intentional AI Club"—a community of practice implementing rituals, frameworks, and embodiment practices introduced through our programming
Similar communities of practice emerge in other contexts (companies, conferences, existing communities)
Individual Behavior Change
Attendees adopt new practices in their use of AI—for example, crafting intentional "meta-prompts" that frame their relationship with AI as collaborative rather than extractive, then sharing these approaches with their networks
Practitioners develop personal rituals around technology use (intention-setting before AI sessions, closing practices, conscious limits)
Narrative Influence
"Conscious technology" and "intentional AI" framing enters mainstream discourse
Conference organizers and media outlets seek Technomancy perspective on AI developments
Featured voices carry themes into their own platforms and communities
What We're Not Trying to Do
We're not trying to stop AI development or position ourselves as critics/pessimists.
We're not trying to impose a single framework or belief system.
We're not trying to build a mass movement; we're trying to influence the people who influence the trajectory
